Bunheads is like the lazy California cousin of Gilmore Girls, courtesy of Amy Sherman-Palladino's return to prime time TV of all things quick-witted, snarkastic (taken from a line of hers), pop culture referential and the success of up-and-coming film directors (Jamie Babbit directed a few GG episodes!) So as the season officially closes for the summer on Monday, we are taking a trip down recent memory lane to enjoy the best quotes from the show.
"I believe in control... and putting cheese on everything." - Michelle Simms (Sutton Foster), Episode 9: "Don't Take Khaleesi's Dragons"

"Oh, by the way, I think I figured out why Sylvia Plath killed herself. She was trying to hang a curtain rod. She was probably trying to hang herself on the curtain rod, so it was onto Plan B." - Michelle Simms (Sutton Foster), Episode 4: "Better Luck Next Year"
" When you’re on Broadway the show doesn't stop so you can go potty. Les Misis three hours long, and sure there’s an intermission, but between changing costumes and trying to figure out if Marius is straight, you’re not gonna have time to pee. You’ve got to hold it." - Michelle Simms (Sutton Foster) Episode 7: "What's Your Damage, Heather?"
"She's calling her mom and I'm walking an old guy's dog and that's not even a sexual euphemism." - Michelle Simms (Sutton Foster), Episode 2: "For Fanny"

"So how much would it cost to thin the trees so the squirrels don't explode?" - Michelle Simms (Sutton Foster), Episode 3: "Inherit the Wind"
"Fanny there's an assman in your bushes that wants to know what box he's in. Could that sound any dirtier?" - Michelle Simms (Sutton Foster), Episode 5: "Money for Nothing"
