It almost seems sacrilege to think about Christmas -- but after Halloween decorations are decking the aisles of our favorite stores, one can't help but think "Oh geez, Christmas decorations are next.." -- and given my crap Christmas last year I almost want to forget the Christian holiday altogether and hope for a Solstice fiesta this year like in 2011.
You never realize how amazing your alternative holiday is until you spend it with other people when you always celebrate it alone.
But fortunately (or unfortunately), Emmy the Great and Tim Wheeler's "Home for the Holidays" managed to squirm its way into my brain on Sunday and it has stuck since.
Spreading the plague to my readers.
